The Sapphire Coast Kart Club is dedicated to providing a top class karting facility to residents of the South Coast of New South Wales. The Club is also dedicated to providing an environment for the development of Driver Education in the Far South Coast of New South Wales. In 2004 we completed a brand new track at Frogs Hollow, which is between Bega and Merimbula.
Karting is one of the few sports where there is no competitive difference between male, female, young and old. Everybody can compete against anyone within their class structure. There are classes for racers 7 years and up, fast to slow, sprint karting to endurance, two stroke to four stroke. To put it simply, karting is for everyone. You can get involved as a competitor or an official, in administration, or as a helper—at Club to State level. Whatever your desire within motor sport, you can achieve it through karting.
If you would like to be part of this exciting development, and take part in some of the most affordable motor racing available, contact us.

The Junior Sprockets program is a participation initiative developed by Karting Australia that provides participants aged between 6 & 12 years of age with the opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of driving an authentic racing kart in a safe and controlled environment. Under the expert tuition of Troy Hunt and the instructors from the Topgun Driver Training Academy, each participant will progress through a series of activity stations where they will learn the basics of karting.
At the completion of the 2 hour intensive program, each child will be presented with a gift bag containing an array of merchandise including information on how to ‘Get Started in Karting’ along with a free 12 month Karting Australia practice licence to assist them with the transition into competitive karting.
Thanks to a grant obtained from the Office of Sport, this program is offered FREE to kids who are interested in karting. This is normally valued at $195.
